The Eagles have extended their Las Vegas Sphere residency with four new concerts in January 2026, the group and venue confirmed Monday. The additional shows — Friday, Jan. 23; Saturday, Jan. 24; Friday, Jan. 30; and Saturday, Jan. 31 — will bring the band’s total performances at the venue to at least 48, making them the artist who has played the most dates at Sphere.

Before the January dates, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have ten scheduled nights at the Sphere this year. The newly added concerts will be the band’s 45th through 48th shows at the venue, surpassing Dead & Company’s 41 and U2’s 40 appearances. Tickets for the four January performances go on official sale Friday, Sept. 19, and secondary-market listings were available at the time of publication, with some prices as low as $138 including fees on resale site Vivid Seats; resale prices are subject to fluctuation and may be above or below face value.

The Eagles’ Sphere shows combine the band’s classic catalogue with large-scale visual production. Set List FM reports the group typically performs about 20 songs per night, with staples including "Hotel California," "One of These Nights," "Lyin' Eyes," "Desperado" and "Heartache Tonight." Reviews of the residency’s opening night praised the immersive video environment; Variety noted a particularly striking sequence for Don Henley’s "The Boys of Summer," which moves from a beach setting under the waves to a water-ballet tableau.

The residency is part of a busy schedule for the Sphere, which continues to host a mix of concerts and immersive presentations. Current and upcoming runs include Darren Aronofsky’s immersive film "Postcard From Earth," a retrospective on U2’s residency titled "V-U2," large-format screenings of "The Wizard of Oz," and headline residencies by other artists such as the Zac Brown Band and the Backstreet Boys.

The Eagles’ lineup for the Sphere shows features founding member Don Henley, 78, on drums and vocals; Joe Walsh, 77, on guitar and vocals; Timothy B. Schmit, 77, on bass and vocals; 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill; and Deacon Frey, son of the late Glenn Frey. The band, formed in 1971, has sold more than 150 million albums worldwide and earned six Grammy Awards over its career. Former members who no longer perform with the group include Glenn Frey, who died in 2016, and Randy Meisner, who died in 2023. Bernie Leadon has not performed with the band since 2016. Don Felder, another former member, has toured with other acts and was reported by The Post to have experienced a medical emergency at a show earlier this year.

Onstage, the Eagles have mixed their catalog with solo material and covers; the inaugural Sphere set list on Sept. 20, 2024, included originals such as "Life in the Fast Lane" and "Take It Easy," Joe Walsh solo numbers and covers like Steve Young’s "Seven Bridges Road." Production at the Sphere features a wraparound visual environment intended to complement the performances rather than simply provide backdrops.

Fans seeking tickets can purchase through official outlets when on-sale dates are announced or through secondary-market platforms, where guarantees and fees vary. The band’s extended residency underscores the continued market for legacy-rock residencies in Las Vegas and the Sphere’s role as a destination for large-scale, multimedia concert experiences.
