The Eagles have announced four additional performance dates at the Las Vegas Sphere in January 2027, extending their record-breaking residency. The newly added shows are scheduled for January 15, 16, 22, and 23, 2027, with all performances set to begin at 8:30 p.m. local time.

These new dates bring the total number of performances by the band at the Sphere to 68. This extensive run surpasses previous residencies at the venue by artists such as the Backstreet Boys, who have played 44 shows, and U2, with 40 performances.

The Eagles' ongoing residency at the Sphere began in September 2024. Previously scheduled shows for September, November, and December of the current year are also part of their performance schedule.

Concerts typically feature a setlist of 20-21 songs, including fan favorites like "Take It Easy," "Life In The Fast Lane," "Desperado," "Lyin’ Eyes," and "Hotel California." The band also performs songs from the solo catalogs of members Joe Walsh and Don Henley, such as "Boys Of Summer," "The End of the Innocence," "In The City," and "Life’s Been Good."

The visual spectacle of the Sphere is designed to complement the music. Reviews suggest that while the visuals are breathtaking, they serve to amplify the impact of the songs rather than distract from them. For example, an eerie swamp setting might accompany "Witchy Woman," or falling lyrics could enhance "Lyin’ Eyes."

Tickets for the newly added 2027 dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 14, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time via Ticketmaster. Some tickets may also be available on secondary market sites.

Other artists scheduled to perform at the Sphere include "The Wizard of Oz" film screenings, Backstreet Boys, Carín León, and Metallica. Vince Gill, a member of the Eagles, is also undertaking a solo tour, the "50 Years From Home Tour," through the end of August.

The current lineup of The Eagles for their Sphere performances includes founding member Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Vince Gill, and Deacon Frey, son of the late Glenn Frey. Original members Glenn Frey passed away in 2016, and Randy Meisner died in 2023. Bernie Leadon has not performed with the band since 2016.
