Harriet Dyer and Patrick Brammall, the stars and co-creators of the Australian comedy "Colin From Accounts," recently shared contrasting perspectives on marital trust and secret-keeping during an appearance on 2Day FM's Nath and Emma breakfast show.

Dyer, 38, stated that she tends to share her friends' secrets with her husband, Brammall, 50, regardless of being asked to keep them confidential. "You have to understand that if you are in a relationship and someone tells you something, you tell your partner," Dyer explained. However, Brammall maintained that he upholds a different standard, particularly concerning his male friendships.

"My integrity is on trial here! When my friends entrust me with a secret, I am going to honour that," Brammall said, referencing a concept akin to the "Bro Code." He noted that while Dyer might share confidences from her friends, he would refrain from revealing secrets told to him by his friends, even to his wife. Brammall added that he never probes his wife for her friends' secrets and that she volunteers information freely.

The couple, married since 2021, also recently announced that the upcoming third season of "Colin From Accounts" will be the show's final installment. They conveyed this news via social media, acknowledging fan disappointment but explaining their creative decision.

"Creatively, it just feels like the right time for these characters. We don't want to flog a dead horse," the pair stated. They expressed their love for making the show and their sadness about its conclusion.

"Colin From Accounts" premiered in 2022 and quickly gained global recognition. The series follows the lives of Ashley and Gordon, played by Dyer and Brammall, whose characters are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog. The show has become a hit in over 100 countries and features a cast of Australian actors. The second season continued to explore the characters' lives and relationship in Sydney.
