The 30-year-old singer arrived at Via Carota in the West Village wearing a black polka-dot blouse, skinny black jeans and black high heels, and carried a black Chloé heart-shaped handbag. Dukagjin Lipa, 56, who manages his daughter, wore a white loose-fitting T-shirt and cream linen trousers and was seen smoking while speaking with her.
Lipa had attended the Harper's Bazaar Icons dinner on Monday night, where she wore a black tasselled gown featuring a nude, low-cut corset and black fringe detailing. At that event she accessorized with silver Bvlgari jewelry and black pumps.
The singer has publicly shown a close relationship with her family. Earlier this year she posted a birthday tribute for her father that included a series of selfies and family photos featuring her mother, Anesa Lipa, and siblings Gjin and Rina.
Lipa publicly confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner in June, saying he had proposed, although media reports suggested speculation about the proposal began months earlier. Reports in recent weeks have said the couple are searching for a roughly £9 million property in southern Spain, in areas such as Marbella or Andalusia, as a private retreat. Those reports also said the couple have established a production company, TwentyTwo Films, listed under motion picture and programme production activities.
A report in The Sun quoted a source saying the pair planned joint creative ventures and wanted more control over any future film projects. Representatives for Lipa and Turner were not immediately available for comment; the Daily Mail has contacted their representatives for comment.
