Dr Chris Brown has publicly confirmed his romance with Lorraine Monforte, a television publicist, after months of private dating. The Bondi Vet star and Monforte were photographed on a relaxed morning stroll in Sydney on Saturday, signaling the couple's comfort in public.

Brown announced the relationship during a guest appearance on Nova FM's Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie. When host Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli asked, "You have a girlfriend Dr Chris Brown... Is her name Lorraine?" Brown replied, "Yes, her name is Lorraine." He added that Lorraine has met his family and that his father, Graham, has given her the thumbs-up. He noted that the romance had been kept private, describing it as an "open secret" within the industry.

Monforte, 41, is a television publicist who is understood to be a mother to at least two children, including a 10-year-old son. She has kept her private life largely out of the public eye. The Monforte surname has previously appeared in public reporting in connection with a double-barrel name (Monforte-Guy), suggesting a prior marriage. She and Brown reportedly met on the set of I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! when he worked for Channel Ten.

On the weekend outing, Brown wore a figure-hugging navy polo shirt paired with blue-and-white floral patterned board shorts and black thong sandals. He finished the look with a faded blue baseball cap and sunglasses. Monforte wore an oversized peach-colored T-shirt tucked into curved-hem track shorts, showing off her toned legs, and white New Balance sneakers. A light gray jumper was tied around her neck, and her brunette hair was worn loose over her shoulders as the couple chatted during the stroll.

The public acknowledgment of the relationship came after The Daily Mail reported the romance in August, signaling a shift from private remarks to a confirmed coupling. Industry insiders had described the relationship as an "open secret" for some time, with Brown previously choosing to keep personal details private and avoiding overt public speculation.

Brown, 47, is best known for his work as a veterinary presenter on The Bondi Vet, while Monforte, 41, is involved in public relations for television personalities and productions. The couple’s first connection dates back to when Brown was working with Channel Ten on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, where the pair reportedly crossed paths. Since then, they have appeared in public together only sporadically, choosing to protect their private life amid ongoing public interest in their relationship.
