Dollywood theme park is set to unveil several new features aimed at honoring the life of its founder, Dolly Parton. The enhancements include the addition of a waterfall, stained glass windows for a chapel within the park, and a new character named the Dream Maker, inspired by Parton's Imagination Library initiative.

These additions are part of an effort to celebrate the iconic singer, actor, and philanthropist. Sevierville, Tennessee, where the park is located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, will also introduce markers for a self-guided walking tour highlighting locations significant to Parton's life. Parton grew up in rural Sevier County and was instrumental in transforming the theme park into the region's largest employer and a prominent tourist destination.

Park officials announced the plans during a press conference on Wednesday. Visitors will also find new kiosks where they can share their thoughts and memories of Parton. Additionally, updates are planned for The Dolly Parton Experience, a section of the park featuring exhibits on her life and career.
