Dollyfest, a festival initially planned and intended to be hosted by Dolly Parton, will now be held in her honor, according to her estate. The event is scheduled for 2027 and will take place in both Nashville and London, aiming to be "the party of a lifetime she wanted to share with the world."

Parton's estate announced the plans on Monday, stating that they would continue with the festival to commemorate her legacy. "What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life," said a representative, adding that "at this moment, DOLLYFEST is WDWD (What Dolly Would Do!)."

While specific dates and performers have not yet been announced, the estate indicated that more details will be released later. The estate also clarified that while they do not discourage other forms of tribute, a traditional memorial was not something Parton desired. Instead, they feel a festival-style event aligns with her original vision.

Dolly Parton had planned to host and perform at the festival herself before her recent passing.
