Disney has canceled the Hulu dating reality series "Love Overboard," hosted by Gabby Windey and executive produced by podcast star Alex Cooper, after just one season. The nine-episode series premiered on Hulu in March. Sources cited that the show "wasn't finding its audience" as the reason for its cancellation.

Cooper, known for her hit podcast "Call Her Daddy," was an executive producer on "Love Overboard." The show featured 22 singles competing for a connection aboard a yacht. Cooper rose to prominence with "Call Her Daddy," a podcast that began on the male-centric Barstool Sports network before she signed a significant deal with Spotify.
Despite the cancellation of "Love Overboard," Cooper's Unwell brand appears to be experiencing business growth. The company recently received an investment from Patrick Whitesell's investment firm WTSL, reportedly valuing the company at $500 million. Earlier this month, Cooper also switched agencies, moving from UTA to rival CAA. A representative for Disney and Cooper declined to comment on the "Love Overboard" cancellation.
Disney is reportedly still developing new projects with Cooper. Among these is "You Deserve To Know," a Hulu drama slated to star "Vampire Diaries" actors Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, which is also being produced by Cooper's Unwell company. This suggests a continued relationship between Cooper and the media giant, potentially with a focus on scripted content moving forward.
