Jessie and D'Lila Combs, the 18-year-old twin daughters of Sean “Diddy” Combs, attended the LaQuan Smith show at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, sitting in the front row alongside their older brother, Christian "King" Combs, as their father prepares for sentencing on federal prostitution-related convictions.

The twins wore coordinating vinyl black mini dresses with chunky bangles and strappy heels, while King Combs, who has released music and collaborated with other artists, attended in snakeskin-print jeans and a sheer vest. The siblings mingled with other celebrities at the event and were photographed smiling and conversing with attendees.

Combs, 55, was acquitted in July of the most serious charges in a high-profile trial, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, but was convicted on lesser charges of transportation to engage in prostitution related to two women, including singer Cassie Ventura. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 3 in federal court in New York.

Prosecutors initially said federal sentencing guidelines suggested a prison term of roughly four to five years, but last month notified the court that they now believe the applicable guidelines range "will be substantially higher." Each prostitution-related charge carries a statutory maximum of 10 years in prison.

A federal judge denied Combs's request last month to be released on $50 million bail while he awaits sentencing, saying he found no "exceptional reasons" to grant release and expressing concerns that Combs remains a flight risk and a danger to the community. In written findings, Judge Arun Subramanian cited 2016 hotel surveillance footage that showed Combs kicking and dragging Ventura as part of the court's assessment.

Combs's defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo, argued the rapper should be freed immediately on bail, citing conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and pointing to other cases he described as comparable. Agnifilo also described Combs's personal life as a "swingers' lifestyle" and contended that comparisons favored release. Judge Subramanian rejected those comparisons, saying the other cases were not comparable given the nature of the conduct at issue.

The LaQuan Smith show gathered a number of music and entertainment figures. Among those photographed in attendance were rappers Ice-T and Busta Rhymes; Ice-T attended with his wife, Coco Austin. Singer Adam Lambert wore a sequined shirt and prominent makeup, while Mariah the Scientist attended in a sheer dress. Reality star Jordyn Woods and television personality Wendy Williams were also seen at the event.

Combs's trial attracted wide attention and testimony, and the case continues to draw scrutiny as the sentencing date approaches. Prosecutors have argued the women involved were coerced and victimized, while defense lawyers have disputed that characterization. The court will consider those arguments and the sentencing guidelines at the Oct. 3 hearing.

The siblings’ public appearance at a major fashion event highlights the ongoing intersection of celebrity, family life and legal proceedings as Combs faces the next phase of the federal process.
