Destiny's Child members Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams are reportedly working on a reunion and a new album, according to an industry insider who spoke with the Daily Mail. The trio, who last released a studio album in 2004 with "Destiny Fulfilled," has maintained contact through a group chat where they share ideas.
Beyoncé's father and the group's former manager, Mathew Knowles, previously hinted at new remixes in July. The insider suggested that the Super Bowl in 2027 could be a potential venue for a surprise reunion performance, stating, "They are trying to figure out getting the girls together for the Super Bowl as a surprise."
Beyoncé is said to be the most enthusiastic about reuniting, having missed her bandmates and recognizing the public's continued affection for the group. "Beyoncé seemed most eager to reunite because she has missed them and saw how much people love the group," the source told the Daily Mail.
The group's original lineup, including LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson alongside Beyoncé and Rowland, formed in 1990. Farrah Franklin and Williams later joined, with the final lineup solidifying as Beyoncé, Rowland, and Williams.
This potential comeback follows a previous attempt at a reunion in 2011, which reportedly did not materialize due to scheduling conflicts. "The group was supposed to reunite in 2011, but they couldn't commit to a full era," the source added.
