Demi Moore and Ali Larter have negotiated substantial salary increases for the upcoming third season of the Paramount+ series "Landman." Moore, who portrays Cami Miller, will now earn between $740,000 and $770,000 per episode, matching her co-star Billy Bob Thornton's rate.
Larter, who plays Angela, recently finalized her contract and more than doubled her previous paycheck, now earning approximately $350,000 per episode. Representatives for Moore, Larter, and Paramount+ have not yet responded to requests for comment.
The entire original cast of the drama, directed by Taylor Sheridan, is slated to receive significant salary bumps for Season 3. Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph will now make between $130,000 and $180,000 per episode, a figure also set for Paulina Chavez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, and James Jordan.
Thornton, who initially signed a three-year deal with annual increases, will be eligible for new contract negotiations if "Landman" is renewed for a fourth season.
The series, based on the podcast "Boomtown," debuted in 2024 and focuses on the pursuit of wealth within the oil industry. Production for the third season is scheduled to commence at the end of August in Fort Worth, Texas.
"Landman" will continue to air on Paramount+ despite showrunner Taylor Sheridan's recent deal with NBCUniversal. Sheridan, also known for "Yellowstone" and its prequels, has spoken about his creative process, emphasizing a focus on audience engagement over critical accolades like Emmy awards.
