The highly anticipated "Camp Rock 3" is set to premiere on August 13 on Disney Channel and August 14 on Disney+. While many fans have speculated about Demi Lovato's return as Mitchie Torres, the singer will not be appearing in front of the camera. However, Lovato is confirmed to be an executive producer on the film.
Eighteen years after the original "Camp Rock" and 16 years after "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," the Jonas Brothers, reprising their roles as Connect 3, return to Camp Rock. The official synopsis states that as campers compete to open for the band, "tensions rise and friendships are tested — leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances."
Rumors surrounding a third film intensified last summer when Lovato reunited with the Jonas Brothers on stage to perform songs from the "Camp Rock" franchise. While Lovato's acting role in "Camp Rock 3" has not been officially confirmed, her response in March 2026 to a question about her potential appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show" was, "You'll just have to wait and see." Footage of Lovato's character from the original films appears in the trailer, accompanied by a voiceover stating "legends are made here," leading to speculation of a potential cameo.
Returning cast members include Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Maria Canals-Barrera. New additions to the cast feature Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Sherry Cola, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts, and Ava Jean.
For viewers without cable, "Camp Rock 3" will be available on Disney+ starting August 14. Live streaming options without cable include services such as DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV, many of which offer free trials.
