Davis Mallory, a former contestant on MTV's "The Challenge," has publicly showcased his new relationship with his girlfriend, Rachel Vaughan, approximately one year after announcing he was no longer living a "gay lifestyle." Mallory shared a series of photos from a recent vacation with Vaughan on Instagram, accompanied by a caption expressing gratitude for new memories.
In one post, he wrote, "Thankful for new memories that someday turn to old photographs." Another post featured the couple sharing a kiss during their getaway, with Mallory captioning it, "It’s crazy what love can do. I love you @rachelevaughanaa."
Mallory, 43, told TMZ that he and Vaughan first met in February 2022 while he was DJing at a wedding in Hawaii. The couple began traveling together, developing a close friendship before their romantic relationship began in August.
Last September, Mallory announced his change in lifestyle during a church service in Hawaii. He stated, "God really pulled me out of that lifestyle a year ago. Praise God." Mallory, who initially came out as a gay Christian on "The Real World: Denver," described experiencing nightmares that he attributed to returning to what he perceived as sin. He claimed that God communicated with him in dreams, showing him "strong visual images of what sin was doing in [his] life." Mallory starred in Season 18 of "The Real World" and competed in three seasons of "The Challenge," including "Inferno 3," "Duel II," and "Rivals."
