Dakota Johnson and musician Tucker 'Role Model' Pillsbury have reportedly ended their relationship after approximately eight months of dating. Johnson, 36, is seven years older than the 29-year-old Maine-born musician.

The pair were first photographed together in Los Angeles in late December. An insider had previously told People that Johnson and Pillsbury were "very much on the same page" and that their relationship "just feels easy."

Pillsbury, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, featured Johnson on his recently released third studio album, 'Chuck Timely & the Hourglass.' In a track titled 'Love I You,' Johnson makes a flirty appearance, with lyrics suggesting a playful dynamic between them. Pillsbury told Rolling Stone that including her voice on the song was a way of "publicly admitting the relationship," though he had initially been hesitant.

Role Model's previous album, 'Kansas Anymore,' released in 2024, was reportedly written about his 2023 breakup with influencer Emma Chamberlain after three years of dating. He described that album to Interview Magazine as a "heartbreak album, exploring themes of loneliness through the lens of heartbreak." He also noted that 'Kansas Anymore' was created during a two-year period of being single, focusing on feelings of being lost and experiencing "crisis moments of 'Where do I belong?'"

Pillsbury is scheduled to begin his 34-date "Chuck on Tour" in September, starting in Bend, Oregon. He is also set to make his acting debut in Lena Dunham's upcoming Netflix romantic comedy "Good Sex."

Johnson's past relationships include a seven-year on-again, off-again relationship with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, which reportedly ended last year. She also previously dated musician Noah Gersh, Jordan Masterson, and model Matthew Hitt.

Johnson has several upcoming projects, including a role in Maggie Gyllenhaal's short film "Flesh Impact," premiering at the Venice Film Festival. She is also set to star in and executive produce an adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel "Verity" and will make her feature directorial debut with the coming-of-age drama "A Tree Is Blue."
