Daisy Edgar-Jones, known for her role in "Normal People," has shared a memorable encounter with her teenage crush, Leonardo DiCaprio. Edgar-Jones recounted meeting the actor in a nightclub, an experience she discussed on the "Dish from Waitrose" podcast with hosts Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett.

Edgar-Jones, 28, revealed that DiCaprio was a significant crush for years, so much so that his picture once served as her phone's lock screen. The Hollywood actor, 51, rose to global fame in the 1990s, notably for his roles in "Romeo + Juliet" and "Titanic."

"I was obsessed with, okay, 2 people. Oh, actually I've got 3 people," Edgar-Jones said on the podcast, detailing her past crushes. "Logan Lerman in Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief... Then it was Leo DiCaprio in Romeo and Juliet. I know it's a classic, but he was my phone background for a while. And then randomly, um, this Tumblr model- called Ash Stymest. He just smoked cigarettes and had fun hair."

She described the meeting as brief. "I have met Leo DiCaprio, actually. I met him at a club randomly at an afterparty for something," Edgar-Jones explained. "[We] very briefly passed each other and I met him, that was cool. I wasn't like 'Oh my God, you're still my phone background'."

The actress also provided a rare glimpse into her personal life, discussing her three-year relationship with photographer Ben Seed, also known as Pip. Edgar-Jones mentioned that while their busy schedules can make spending time together challenging, they strive to see each other at least every three weeks.

"It can be hard when I’m so far away, it can be really tough, but thank goodness for FaceTime. We find ways to make it work," she stated, emphasizing the importance of their relationship. Edgar-Jones also touched upon her desire to become a mother and concerns about potential fertility issues due to endometriosis.

Her decision to move to east London was influenced by her boyfriend, whom she met on a blind date. "I didn’t know this area well until I met my boyfriend, who lived in London Fields. Then I fell in love with east London," she recalled. Edgar-Jones described Seed as a supportive partner who champions her career, contributing to her feeling of safety and happiness.
