Cruz Beckham seemingly alluded to a rift with his older brother, Brooklyn, by posting a cozy family photo from his performance at Leeds Festival last weekend. The post surfaced on Instagram on Saturday morning, shortly after Brooklyn had publicly shown support for his wife, Nicola Peltz, following her debut at the Venice Film Festival.
Brooklyn, 27, accompanied Peltz, 31, to the Golden Globes x Aman Beverly Hills cocktail party in Venice on Friday night, where she was slated to receive the Rising Star award. Meanwhile, Cruz, 23, highlighted the unity of his immediate family by sharing a picture with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, his brother Romeo, 24, and his sister Harper, 15, backstage at the Leeds event. Cruz's girlfriend, Jackie Apostel, 30, and Romeo's girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, 24, were also featured in the photograph, which Cruz captioned with a red heart emoji.
Cruz and his band, The Breakers, performed at Leeds Festival the previous Sunday, capping off a busy weekend that also included a performance at Reading Festival the day before, where his family had supported him. Following these shows, Cruz took to Instagram to express gratitude for those around him, including his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, who also serves as his music manager.
"I am so grateful for everyone around me, not only are they my best friends but they are family," Cruz wrote. "This journey has been so incredible and I have learned so much because of these people." He specifically thanked Apostel for her role in managing the band's operations, stating, "We are a team and would not be doing this without you. I really love you so much."
David and Victoria Beckham were reportedly impressed with their son's performance, with David calling it "amazing" and Victoria expressing pride. Harper also praised her brother's gig, describing it as "insane." Victoria complimented Cruz's stage attire, an orange crop top and jeans.
In Venice, Brooklyn and Peltz presented a united front. Peltz, an actress with a 20-year career, was honored at The Kineo Awards, an event associated with the Venice Film Festival, for her emerging talent. The Kineo Awards noted Peltz's early start in acting and her recent work, including writing, directing, and starring in the self-funded film "Lola." The awards ceremony, in its 25th year, also recognized actress Faye Dunaway with a lifetime achievement award. The Kineo Awards, established in 2002, take place during the Venice Film Festival but are not officially part of the festival itself.
