Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez were publicly seen together for the first time following reports of their private wedding ceremony. The couple attended a Saudi Pro League football match between Al-Nassr and Al-Fateh in Riyadh, accompanied by their five children.
Ronaldo, who was sitting out of the match, recently rejoined his team after participating in the World Cup and his wedding. Rodriguez, dressed casually, was seen holding their daughter Alana while their twins Eva and Mateo watched the game. Ronaldo appeared tense at times while observing the match but was also seen applauding.
The footballer confirmed the union on Instagram by sharing a photo of their wedding bands with the caption "C❤️G." A representative for Ronaldo stated that the marriage took place in a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, and that their five children were present. Reports from Jornal de Noticias indicated that the ceremony was intimate, with only four witnesses besides the children.
Notably, Ronaldo's mother, Dolores Aveiro, and his siblings were reportedly not present at the ceremony. Portuguese television presenter Cristina Ferreira suggested that the family's absence might cause issues, claiming they may have been informed only moments before the wedding. Another presenter, Claudio Ramos, expressed hope that any perceived family discord was not actual sadness.
Dolores Aveiro and Ronaldo's sister Katia have both posted positive social media messages since the announcement, with Katia having traveled to Madeira. The couple's prenup was reportedly signed on August 10, a day before the ceremony, with assets to be kept separate. They have been together for a decade and have two biological children, with Rodriguez also raising Ronaldo's other three.
