Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, have secretly married in Cascais, Portugal. The intimate ceremony took place over the weekend, with the couple's five children serving as the sole guests.
Reports about the wedding had circulated, initially suggesting a ceremony on August 8 in a cathedral in Madeira, Portugal. However, these reports proved inaccurate. The couple confirmed their marital status through an Instagram post showcasing their wedding rings.
Rodriguez, according to Ronaldo, prefers private affairs and does not enjoy large celebrations. "She is not the person that likes big parties. She doesn't like it. She likes private things. So I will respect these decisions," Ronaldo stated.
The guest list, disclosed by the Daily Mail, comprised only the couple's five children. Three of the children are Ronaldo's from previous relationships, and two are his and Rodriguez's biological children.
