Coronation Street actors Jonathan Howard and Olivia Frances-Brown have seemingly confirmed their relationship status after a trip to Ibiza. Howard, 41, shared photos on Instagram from the island where he celebrated the birthday of Jessica Bell, fiancée of actor Jamie Lomas. The images showed Howard and Frances-Brown, 27, appearing close during the celebration at The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel.
Howard, who plays Carl Webster on the soap, and Frances-Brown, who portrays Jodie Ramsey, were seen sunbathing together by the pool in one of the shared pictures. Howard captioned the post, "Went to Ibiza to celebrate @drjessbell birthday. What a fantastic weekend it was! Thank you #ibiza and @theunexpectedibizahotel."
This public confirmation of their relationship follows Howard's separation from his wife, actress Elodie Yung, over a year ago. The couple, who were together for more than a decade, share a daughter born in 2018. Yung is known for her roles as Elektra Natchios in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Thony De La Rosa in the Fox series The Cleaning Lady. A source previously told The Sun that Howard and Yung separated amicably and remain close friends and co-parents.
Meanwhile, Frances-Brown recently ended her engagement to fellow actor James Nelson-Joyce in May. The pair had become engaged the previous August and were considered a prominent showbiz couple. Insiders cited conflicting schedules as the reason for their split.
Frances-Brown's acting credits include roles in the Channel 4 series The Gathering, Archie, and The Boiling Point before her role on Coronation Street.
