Singer Cliff Richard, 85, has paid tribute to his late friend Cilla Black in the latest installment of his annual calendar. The 2027 edition includes an image of Richard standing at the back of a boat named ‘Cilla’.
Richard and Black, who died in 2015 at the age of 72, shared a close friendship spanning over 50 years. They both owned holiday homes in Barbados, where they spent time together. The calendar also features other images, including one of Richard in a tie-dye jacket and shorts, and another of him on a cruise ship.
Richard’s personal calendar debuted in 1979. Images from the 2027 edition also show him lying on a sofa with his first autobiography, "It’s Great To Be Young," which was published in 1960. In 2023, Richard announced he would no longer pose shirtless for the calendar, stating it was time to "gracefully exit the Chippendales market."
His calendars have reportedly earned him more than £2 million. His 2022 release was the bestselling music star calendar, outselling Harry Styles, according to Calendar Club sales data.
