Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber opted for coordinated glamour at the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The mother-daughter supermodel pair arrived in matching black gowns and styled their hair in similar wavy looks for the event held on Friday, July 3.
The duo's ensembles were shared on social media by celebrity hair stylist Joe Handwerker. Crawford, 60, wore a one-shoulder black gown, complemented by sultry eye makeup and sparkling accessories, including a diamond bracelet. Gerber, 24, chose a more form-fitting black dress with a halter-style, low-cut neckline and appeared to wear minimal jewelry.
Their matching hairstyles featured honey-toned, light brunette tresses cut to a similar length and styled in loose waves. "For the fabulous fete, they both went for LBDs but with differing necklines and their nearly identical haircuts in loose curls versus beachy waves," read a caption accompanying a photo of the pair.
Crawford and Gerber were among the more than 1,000 guests, many of them fellow celebrities, who attended the wedding at Madison Square Garden. The iconic New York City venue was transformed into an extravagant garden party-themed reception space for the celebration.
It remains unclear if Crawford's husband, Rande Gerber, or their son, Presley, also received invitations to the nuptials. The wedding reception was estimated to have cost around $50 million.
Crawford has a long-standing friendship with Swift, dating back over a decade to the singer's 'Reputation' era. Crawford made a cameo in Swift's 2014 music video for "Bad Blood," which also featured other A-list attendees like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Karlie Kloss. In November of that year, Gerber joined her mother and Swift for a photo to celebrate their MTV VMA wins for the music video.
Gerber further demonstrated her support for Swift in July 2020, showcasing her 'Folklore' cardigan alongside Cara Delevingne.
Swift, 36, and Kelce, 36, tied the knot at Madison Square Garden after approximately three years together. The ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler, and Sir Paul McCartney performed for the newlyweds. Other notable attendees included Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z. Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks also performed at the reception, followed by McCartney's musical tribute. Screens outside the venue displayed the message "JUST&T MARRIED" following the ceremony.
