Christine Lampard and her husband, former footballer Frank Lampard, are enjoying a family holiday in the South of France. The couple were seen at the renowned Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes, a destination they have visited for many years.
While the Lampards relax, wildfires have prompted the evacuation of over 300,000 residents in France and Spain, with blazes bearing down on Bordeaux. The family is currently staying at the lavish hotel, which reportedly costs around £2,000 per night.
During their stay, Frank was seen taking a daring cliff jump from the hotel's iconic diving board. Christine, meanwhile, showcased her style in a fitted black minidress, paired with Gucci wedges and Chanel sunglasses.
Christine Lampard has previously shared her fitness secrets, attributing her slim figure not to gym workouts but to Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT). This refers to the energy expended on daily activities outside of structured exercise, such as cooking, gardening, carrying shopping, and walking.
"I don't go to the gym but I'm always moving and I think that keeps me fit," Lampard told Woman and Home magazine. "Frank is very good with gym stuff but I find that general activeness and not sitting around for too long is pretty good for me."
As a mother of two young children, Patricia and Freddie, Lampard's daily routine involves preparing meals, walking them to school, and caring for their dogs, all contributing to her active lifestyle. She has emphasized the importance of consistent, moderate activity over infrequent intense workouts.
Regarding her diet, Lampard follows a pattern of eating a substantial breakfast, a moderate lunch, and a lighter dinner. Her breakfast often consists of tomatoes on toast with grilled bacon and poached eggs. Lunch might be a jacket potato with cheese, while dinners vary, including homemade pies and roasts. She also favors snacks like hummus and carrot sticks. Lampard previously told the Daily Mail that she focuses on eating healthy to maintain her shape after periods of indulgence and generally avoids late-night carbohydrates, finding they can cause bloating.
