Christina Pazsitzky performed a set at The Top Secret Comedy Club in London on July 16, heavily criticizing her estranged husband, Tom Segura, just three days after news of their split broke. An audience member told Page Six that Pazsitzky spent the entire performance "slagging off Tom," and also "booed him" and "swore at him."

During her routine, Pazsitzky reportedly discussed her cancer recovery, stating that a positive aspect of surviving was that she did not die and therefore Segura would not be able to be happy with a younger woman. She also made jokes about Segura's "toilet habits." However, the audience member noted that the "British audience didn’t get it, and the whole thing bombed," to which Pazsitzky allegedly responded by calling the crowd "no fun."

Reps for both Pazsitzky and Segura did not immediately respond to requests for comment. A source close to the former couple suggested that the material was part of a set Pazsitzky had been performing for a long time, dating back three years, and that it focused on relationships and marriage. The source added that it is a comedian's job to joke about life, and that the context of divorce might make older material appear different.

Pazsitzky, 50, has a history of using her marriage to fellow comedian Segura, 47, as material for her comedy. In her 2017 Netflix special "Mother Inferior," she joked about wanting to "punch him in his dumb face" and often discussed minor marital frustrations on their joint podcast, "Your Mom's House," which launched in October 2010. Topics included Segura's perceived difficulty finding things and the division of household responsibilities.

Segura has also used his relationship with Pazsitzky in his comedy. In a March 2019 stand-up performance, he attributed the longevity of their marriage to "intimidation and fear" and compared Pazsitzky to North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il. He has also referred to her on their podcast as "Your Mom's House" as "ice cold" and "mentally ill," while also stating he still loved her.

Pazsitzky filed for divorce from Segura in May in Texas, where they reside. The couple, who married in November 2008, share two sons, Ellis and Julian, born in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Pazsitzky had previously described the breakup to podcast listeners as "extremely sad" and "unfortunate," but insisted they were "cool" and "amicable." Segura characterized the split as an "awful, horrible experience," noting the emotional toll it has taken.

Both Pazsitzky and Segura have expressed a commitment to prioritizing their sons as they navigate their separation.
