Supermodel Christie Brinkley, 72, and her daughter Sailor Brinkley Cook, 28, attended a SiriusXM performance by John Mayer at The Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, The Hamptons. The pair, who have been noted for their resemblance, posed on the red carpet in matching blue denim outfits.
Brinkley, a supermodel and author, was accompanied by her daughter, a Ford Model. The two appeared together at the event on Wednesday evening, where they were photographed before Mayer's performance.
"John Mayer and the full moon were both amazing last night!" Brinkley shared on Instagram Stories the following day, accompanying a video of herself and Cook singing along to the live music. The event also drew other notable figures, including Brooke Shields, Howard Stern, Andy Cohen, David Burtka, and Neil Patrick Harris.
This appearance follows a recent instance where Brinkley was mistaken for her daughter. The model shared images of herself promoting her prosecco brand, posing in front of a Ford F-100 truck, which prompted comments from followers remarking on her youthful appearance and likeness to Cook.
Brinkley, who has two other children, Alexa Ray Joel and Jack Brinkley-Cook, has spoken about her perspective on aging. In a June interview with Social Life Magazine, she stated, "I think that with age you get... freer. You do what you wanna do when you wanna do it. I think that there's a freedom that comes with age that's quite wonderful. You don't really care what anybody thinks about your outfit anymore."
She has previously mentioned using Botox and laser treatments, and reportedly receives injectable filler once a year for marionette lines. Brinkley is also involved in running her clothing company, Tower Hill, and is set to appear in the upcoming family comedy "American Summer," slated for a September 4 limited release in U.S. theaters.
