Adult film performer Zachary Jaghab, known professionally as Christian Styles, died on August 20 at the age of 29, according to the Wayne County Medical Examiner. His family confirmed his passing and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral expenses, describing his death as a "sudden and heartbreaking loss."
Jaghab was a prominent figure in gay adult entertainment, amassing over one million followers on X, formerly Twitter. In 2023, he won a fan-voted GayVN Award for Favorite All-Male Creator Collab with fellow performer Chris Damned. His family noted that he was a "cherished youngest son" and "beloved brother."
The GoFundMe page stated that Jaghab's parents, Johnny and Ellen, are facing their own health struggles, including cancer, which adds to the family's grief. The campaign aims to raise $20,000, and has so far garnered over $7,000.
Jaghab's death is the latest in a series of recent fatalities within the gay male adult film industry. In June, retired performer Dale Savage died at 62 from a stroke. In December, Blake Mitchell, real name Lane Rogers, died in a motorcycle accident at 31. In March, Seth Peterson died suddenly at 28 in his Los Angeles home, with his mother reportedly suspecting a drug overdose.
Earlier this year, Colton Ford, whose real name was Glenn Soukesian, was found dead at 62. His cause of death was later ruled an accidental overdose of MDMA. Last year, Tim Kruger, real name Marcel Bonn, died at 44 following an accident at his home. Bodybuilder and performer Damien Stone also died unexpectedly at 32 due to complications from an enlarged heart.
