Chris Hughes, who found love on the reality show with girlfriend JoJo Siwa, is reportedly slated to host a new vodcast for Big Brother. This move comes after the cancellation of the show's previous spin-off, "Late and Live."

Sources suggest Hughes, 33, has proven popular with viewers and is being tapped to lead the new digital format. While Siwa is currently occupied with her own commitments, there is hope she could make an appearance on the show, provided scheduling aligns. An insider noted that Hughes and Siwa have a significant fan base and have become associated with the show's romantic storylines.

"ITV has seen the success of the Love Island podcast this year and want to replicate that with Big Brother," a source told The Sun. "JoJo is currently tied up with other commitments but would be welcome on to the show should the dates work for her."

"Late and Live," which was hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, was axed in November after three years. The show reportedly struggled to attract a sufficient viewership, despite featuring guests like JoJo Siwa. The shift in audience viewing habits towards on-demand platforms like ITVX may have also contributed to the live show's decline.

Big Brother is scheduled to return for its new series on September 18. This upcoming season is set to be ITV's longest yet, spanning eight weeks. Insiders also suggest that this season may feature surprise celebrity housemates, drawing inspiration from past celebrity editions of the show.
