Chloe Burrows, who gained fame on the ITV2 series Love Island in 2021, is reportedly in advanced discussions to join the upcoming season of "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!". Sources indicate that Burrows has met with show producers multiple times and has made a positive impression.
Her potential participation aligns with the network's recent strategy of casting popular social media influencers. Last year's series was won by influencer Morgan Burtwistle, known as Angry Ginge, while Grace Keeling, or GK Barry, finished in fifth place in 2024. A source told The Sun that Burrows possesses a significant social media following, similar to past successful influencer contestants, and that ITV bosses believe she could attract a younger demographic.
"ITV moves with the times," an insider commented. "They’ve seen the surge of popularity with influencers."
Beyond her Love Island appearance, Burrows has cultivated a career in television and radio. Her past television credits include "Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins," "Scared of the Dark," and "Celebs Go Dating." She also hosts her own podcast and co-presents the Kiss Breakfast show.
Other rumored contestants for the upcoming "I'm A Celebrity" season include Joanna Page of "Gavin & Stacey," presenter Ade Adepitan, and Olympic ice skater Christopher Dean.
Series Schedule Shift
The launch date for the new series of "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!" has reportedly been adjusted to avoid a scheduling conflict with a major sporting event. The show, typically beginning on a Sunday in mid-November, is now anticipated to start on Monday, November 16, 2026.
This change is due to ITV securing broadcasting rights for the UEFA Nations League, which features England playing against Spain on Sunday, November 15. The match kickoff is scheduled for 8:45 p.m. in Madrid, which would overlap with the show's usual airtime. "Now ITV has the rights to the UEFA Nations League bosses have had to go back to the drawing board," a source stated.
An ITV spokesperson stated that any names suggested for the show are "just speculation" and representatives for ITV and Burrows did not provide further comment when contacted by the Daily Mail.
