Chet Hanks is set to feature in a new advertising campaign for the morning-after pill Julie, in which he will humorously address his public image. The campaign, known internally as "I'm With Stupid," aims to leverage Hanks's persona for its messaging.

The tagline for the advertisements is: "Having a dumb boyfriend is a universal experience, having one as the father of your children doesn’t need to be." Influencer Hallie Batchelder is also reportedly part of the campaign.

Hanks first gained public attention around 2011 under his rap alias, Chet Haze. His father is actor Tom Hanks, and his older brother is actor Colin Hanks. Chet Hanks has also appeared on the celebrity reality series "The Surreal Life" in 2024.

Despite a public perception that has sometimes been characterized as less serious, Hanks has an acting background that includes roles in the Netflix show "Running Point," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Shameless," "Atlanta," and "Your Honor."

The morning-after pill Julie was developed by Julie Schott, who previously invented the StarFace pimple patches.
