Speaking to Vogue after the party, Cher said, "As I was walking in, it was as if I had never left. It felt f**king fabulous." The two were also seen earlier in the week walking hand-in-hand in New York; Cher wore dark blue wide-leg jeans with a semi-sheer black lace top and shiny black boots, while Edwards opted for a white shirt and dark gray "puddle" jeans.
Cher and Edwards began dating in November 2022. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show that December, Cher acknowledged the age difference, saying, "Well, on paper it's kind of ridiculous," but added that they "get along great" and that Edwards was "fabulous." Since then the pair have attended numerous fashion and industry events together, including Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda Roma in July, where they dined alongside fashion figures such as Pat McGrath and Edward Enninful.
