Charli XCX recently shared glimpses of her summer holiday at Lake Como with her husband, George Daniel, and a group of friends. The singer posted a series of photographs from the trip on Sunday.
The vacation featured the British singer, 34, in swimwear, including a gold bikini. One image showed her posing in pink stilettos, while another offered a rear view of her in the bikini. The group participated in a boat trip on the lake, enjoying Aperol Spritz.
Daniel, a drummer for The 1975, was featured in some of the photographs. XCX captioned the collection of images: 'A girl on a lake with her friends and her husbands!'
In a recent BBC interview, XCX discussed her song "Wink Wink," describing it as a message to past partners indicating she has found her ideal match in her husband. She explained that her current relationship allows her to be understood, contrasting it with previous relationships where she felt pressure to conform.
XCX married Daniel in September 2025, following a civil ceremony in July. Previously, she had a seven-year on-and-off relationship with producer Huck Kwong, which ended in 2022, and was also linked to Mike Kerr, frontman of Royal Blood.
The singer also touched upon her song "2007," which she stated is about the rise of TikTok creators and the potential for anyone to achieve fame from their bedrooms. She likened this phenomenon to Andy Warhol's concept of the 15 minutes of fame.
XCX also revealed that watching the reality television show Love Island is her guilty pleasure, describing it as a time when she can disconnect from her professional thoughts and relax.
