Charli XCX Graces Playboy's Fall Cover in Lingerie

Charli XCX is the fall 2026 cover star for Playboy magazine, appearing in a series of black lingerie looks.
The photoshoot, captured by Aidan Zamiri, took place on a boat along the Thames in London. Images from the shoot feature the singer in various states of undress, including a black lingerie set and heels on a white bed, and a sheer teddy while leaning against a bar. Another image shows her in a black corset and stockings, and a different shot features her in a sheer black negligee with her back to the camera.
In one photograph, XCX is seen with her gloved hands on her chest, with Big Ben visible in the background. Another outdoor shot shows her in white lingerie paired with an overcoat, with the London skyline as a backdrop. The singer commented on the outdoor shoot, noting that "The tourists were into it."
"I've wanted to shoot with Playboy for a while," XCX stated. "It's such an iconic magazine. I love the logo. I love the underwear. I love female bodies. I love full-out sexiness."
XCX drew inspiration from her friend and fellow Playboy model Kylie Jenner, who also appeared in XCX's recent A24 mockumentary, "The Moment." XCX shared her thoughts on the creative process and her perspective on provocative imagery: "To me, a sexy photo is something that captures someone's true essence. It's not necessarily a perfect photo. It can be raw, messy, perhaps a little vulnerable at points. I think a sexy photo shows the truth."
The singer's latest album includes a song titled "Playboy Bunny." Previously, XCX had expressed a desire to pivot her career towards acting, telling "Feeding Starving Celebrities" in February, "Yes, are you kidding? I want to quit music, babe, and act."
