Pop star Charli XCX and her husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, were recently seen enjoying a romantic outing on Lake Como. The couple was photographed sharing affectionate moments and drinks aboard a boat during their Italian getaway.
XCX, 34, and Daniel, 36, who married last summer, appeared to be enjoying some private time away from a larger group of friends they are vacationing with on the lake. Images show them sharing kisses and embraces while on the water.
The "Brat" hitmaker was seen in a black bikini, and at one point, she took a dip in the lake. Daniel, shirtless, displayed his tattooed physique in swim shorts.
Earlier this week, XCX shared glimpses of her holiday on Instagram, humorously captioning a post with "A girl on a lake with her friends and her husbands!" The singer also posted photos of herself in swimwear and enjoying the scenery.
XCX recently discussed the meaning behind her song "Wink Wink," describing it as a message to past partners that she has found her "perfect man" in Daniel. She explained on a BBC episode that while past relationships felt misunderstood, her current one with Daniel is different, with him understanding her on a deeper level.
Before her relationship with Daniel, XCX was in a long-term on-and-off relationship with producer Huck Kwong, which ended in 2022. She was also previously linked to Mike Kerr, frontman of Royal Blood.
This getaway comes as XCX prepares to headline the Reading and Leeds festival, her sole UK festival performance of the year.
