Channing Tatum attended the Los Angeles premiere of the anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle on Tuesday with his 12-year-old daughter, Everly, marking a rare public outing for the father and daughter.

Tatum, 45, provides the English-language voice for the character Keizo in the film and joined cast and collaborators for the screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre. Everly, whom he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, wore a light-blue satin gown, while Tatum wore a navy suit with an off-white top and black dress shoes as photographers captured the pair on the red carpet.

The pair posed with collaborators, including voice actors Natsuki Hanae and Aleks Le, and shared a light moment as cameras clicked. Tatum has been promoting multiple projects this season as studios and festivals roll out fall schedules.

Speaking with E! at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, Tatum said Everly has seen many of his films but is not particularly impressed. "She's like, 'Whatever, I don't wanna see those,'" he said, adding, "She acts like she doesn't care ... I'm never gonna be cool to her." He also told Variety that the end of his marriage had been painful and that co-parenting has been difficult. "It's really tough not to have your daughter half the time. I wish I could just have her all the time," he said.

Tatum and Dewan met while working on the 2006 film Step Up, became engaged in 2008 and were married in Malibu on July 11, 2009. The couple announced their separation in a joint statement on April 2, 2018, saying they had "fallen deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together" and that their decision to part was not the result of "secrets nor salacious events." Their split was finalized in 2024 after protracted proceedings, and Tatum has described the intervening years as a painful period.

Everly has appeared publicly with both parents at times since the split, but Tatum's presence on the red carpet with his daughter was notable for its rarity. The premiere screening at the TCL Chinese Theatre drew fans of the Demon Slayer franchise and media attention to the film's English-language cast.

Tatum's comments at festival and press events this season reflect his focus on work and family. He continues to promote his voice role in the Demon Slayer film while balancing parenting responsibilities with his ex-wife, with whom he said he remains committed to raising their daughter together.
