London experienced its hottest June on record this week, causing discomfort for celebrities undertaking winter-themed photoshoots. Ayda Field and Alex Jones were among those seen struggling in the unseasonable heat while dressed in Christmas jumpers and winter coats.

Field shared a photo on Instagram of herself in a festive jumper and a long brown coat, grimacing as she wrote, "Nothing like shooting a Christmas movie during a summer heat wave." Jones also posted a picture in a thick argyle jumper, captioning it, "Overheating much!" She explained to her followers that they were shooting a Christmas edit for @cottontradersuk, adding, "Love this jumper though just not in the hottest day Ever!!!" Jones was also seen wearing a black padded jacket during the shoot.

In contrast, Molly Smith was dressed appropriately for the warm weather, sporting a white sports bra and purple gym shorts. She appeared ready for a workout, accessorizing with pink trainers and carrying a large bottle of electrolytes.

Elsewhere, Diana Vickers sought creative ways to stay cool, resting a bag of frozen spinach on her head. She also showcased her abs in a sports bra, posting, "Frozen spinach from Tesco in this heat Hallelujah."

During a radio segment on Thursday, Amanda Holden participated in an ice bucket challenge segment, tipping a bucket of cold water over her co-host Jamie Theakston. Theakston managed to avoid the water twice before being drenched on the third attempt. Holden, dressed in a blue dress and white heels, appeared to enjoy the segment, with the show's Instagram account noting, "We think @noholdenback enjoyed this a little too much..."
