Cat Deeley has revealed she employs a nanny to assist with raising her two sons, Milo, aged 10, and James, aged eight. Deeley, who shares the children with her estranged husband, Patrick Kielty, described their co-parenting arrangement as a "50-50" split.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, Deeley, 49, noted the importance of organization in her new role as a single mother. "I have an amazing nanny too," she stated, adding that the administrative aspects of co-parenting can sometimes disrupt her sleep. "Everybody's doing their best," she remarked.
The couple, who relocated to the UK from Los Angeles in 2020, announced their separation in July 2025 via a joint statement. In that statement, they emphasized that no other individuals were involved in the breakdown of their marriage and affirmed their commitment to remaining united as loving parents.
Kielty's family had previously indicated to the Daily Mail that they were aware of the marriage ending in March 2025, following Deeley's absence from his mother's funeral. Deeley and Kielty first met in 2002 while hosting the BBC talent series Fame Academy. Their friendship evolved into a romantic relationship a decade later, and they married in Rome in September 2012.
Recently, Deeley was seen with film industry executive Charlie Coleman at a concert in London, sparking romance rumors. Sources suggested Deeley was open to dating but not interested in using dating apps.
It was also reported that Deeley and Kielty have placed their home in Hampstead, north London, on the market for £5.25 million. They had purchased the property for nearly £5 million in 2023.
