Carmen Electra, 54, has expressed her openness to re-entering the dating scene following her recent return to Playboy. The actress and model, who first graced the magazine's pages at age 24 in 1996, is featured in the Summer 2026 issue.

Electra, who has been married twice before to Dennis Rodman and Dave Navarro, stated that she is not searching for a partner with financial means, emphasizing her ability to support herself. She is looking for a "good person" with whom she shares common interests. "We have to like the same things," she told Fox News Digital. "It's also cool when opposites attract... you do want to have some things in common. But you also want to learn from each other."

She noted that while she previously dated a man with a daughter and developed a connection with the child, the relationship did not ultimately work out. Electra is now open to dating individuals with or without children, and does not have a strict age preference, stating, "They could be a little bit younger."

Electra also shared insights on maintaining confidence, attributing it to her career and being actively engaged in her work. "I feel the most confident when I'm working, and I've been working a lot," she said. "When I'm working, I'm really happy."

Reflecting on her career and public image, Electra offered advice to women regarding aging. "Don't let anyone tell you you're too old," she urged. "That's a myth. You are living your own life. You're not living your life for other people."

Electra also spoke about the importance of maintaining a youthful spirit and embracing one's inner child, a concept she explored in Buddhism. She believes that individuals who remain in the entertainment industry and possess a youthful essence are often admired for their authenticity and ability to be true to themselves.
