Cardi B said she wants more children during an appearance on "The Jennifer Hudson Show," as her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs has become more visible and pregnancy rumors swirl.
On the Sept. 9, 2025, program, the rapper — who is promoting her album "Am I the Drama?" due Sept. 12 — explained why she wanted a larger family. "The more kids you have, the less of a possibility you go to, like, a home," she said, adding, "One of them is gonna wipe my butt." She did not provide further details. Host Jennifer Hudson did not ask about Diggs during the interview.
Cardi B is a mother of three: 12-month-old daughter Blossom, 7-year-old Kulture and 4-year-old son Wave, whom she shares with her ex-husband, rapper Offset. The remarks came amid fresh public attention on her private life; the couple made their relationship Instagram-official in June after appearances together earlier in the year.
Cardi and Diggs were seen together at Madison Square Garden for Game 4 of the Knicks-Celtics playoff series on May 11, 2025, and Cardi also attended a youth football camp Diggs hosted at SECU Stadium at the University of Maryland this offseason.
Diggs, 31, signed a three-year contract with the Patriots in March that can be worth up to $69 million. He is coming off a torn ACL suffered last fall while with the Houston Texans. In New England's season opener on Sept. 7, 2025, Diggs had six catches on seven targets for 57 yards and played about 48% of the Patriots' offensive snaps in a 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders; Cardi did not attend that game. The Patriots are scheduled to play the Miami Dolphins later this week.
Neither Cardi B nor representatives for Diggs immediately responded to requests for additional comment. The rapper has been promoting her new music while managing public interest in her personal life, and she has not confirmed reports that she is expecting another child.
Cardi's on-air remarks add to a stream of recent public moments that have illustrated the couple's visibility without extensive on-record discussion. Both artists and athletes frequently face intensified scrutiny when personal and professional milestones coincide, and Tuesday's television appearance renewed attention to Cardi B's family plans as she prepares for the album release.
