The "Up" hitmaker recently discussed undergoing a butt reduction surgery, a procedure she revealed last year led to three months of recovery and being bedridden. While speaking on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast, she stated that she had already had the reduction done in response to comments about her body and her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
Cardi B expressed that while she sometimes wishes her backside were smaller, she would not undergo the reduction procedure again due to the arduous recovery. "For me to reduce my butt, I have to literally sit on the table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be on bed rest for three months," she explained. She added that she has learned to live with her body and is comfortable with it.
In a past "Call Her Daddy" appearance in 2022, Cardi B had cautioned fans about the potential dangers of cosmetic procedures and revealed that she had 95 percent of her previous butt injections dissolved. During her recent appearance, she also addressed rumors about her relationship, specifically denying claims that her boyfriend had ended their relationship due to her BBL "stinking." She asserted that she is meticulous about her hygiene and that BBLs do not inherently produce an odor when there are no open wounds.
