Cardi B and NFL star Stefon Diggs are expecting their first child together, the rapper confirmed during a pre-taped appearance on CBS Mornings with Gayle King. "I'm having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs," Cardi B said. "I'm happy. I feel like I'm in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I'm doing all this work, but I'm doing all this work while I'm creating a baby."
This will be Cardi B's fourth child; she shares two daughters, Blossom and Kulture, and a son, Wave, with Kiari Cephus, whose stage name is Offset. Diggs has an eight-year-old daughter, Nova, from a previous relationship, according to People.
The baby is expected to arrive before Cardi B's first-ever headlining arena tour in support of her long-awaited second studio album, Am I the Drama? The tour is set to begin in February, and Cardi B has said the baby will arrive ahead of that run.
Speculation about a romance between Cardi B and Diggs began swirling in October. The couple made their first public appearance together in May 2025 when they sat courtside at a New York Knicks playoff game at Madison Square Garden.
Around that time, Diggs' contract and health status drew attention on the football side: he recently agreed to a three-year contract with the New England Patriots in the offseason, and he missed much of the voluntary offseason program while rehabbing from a torn ACL sustained last season. He was fully cleared and appeared in the Patriots' first two regular-season games, entering Week 3 with 89 receiving yards.
