Cameron Diaz was photographed in New York City on Wednesday walking with her daughter, Raddix, 5, in a rare public outing, according to photographs obtained by Page Six.
The "Charlie's Angels" and "Mask" star walked alongside the young girl as Raddix rode a purple scooter. Diaz wore a casual outfit of jeans, a denim jacket, a white T-shirt and white sneakers, with her blond hair pulled into a messy bun and a tan crossbody bag across her chest.
Photographs showed Raddix wearing a white peplum dress printed with colorful kitten faces, pink leggings patterned with red strawberries, purple sneakers and a hot-pink helmet. The images were published by Page Six and made public on Thursday.
Diaz and her husband, Good Charlotte vocalist Benji Madden, have kept a low profile with their children. The couple, who marked 10 years of marriage in January, share daughter Raddix and son Cardinal, 1. The actress, 53, and Madden, 46, have been photographed with their children only on a few occasions since their births.
Earlier this year in February, Diaz was photographed in Santa Barbara, California, carrying Cardinal while out with family. The couple were also photographed on a family outing in August 2024, when Diaz pushed Cardinal in a stroller and Madden held Raddix's hand.
The couple did not announce Diaz's pregnancies publicly. They confirmed the birth of their son Cardinal in a joint Instagram post last March, writing, "We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden❤️🙏He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here!" The post added that, "For the kids' safety and privacy we won't be posting any pictures."
Diaz stepped away from a high-profile acting career years ago but has occasionally appeared in public and at industry events. The recent photographs underscore the couple's preference for keeping family life private while making occasional outings with their children.
No representatives for Diaz or Madden immediately responded to requests for comment.
