Callum Turner has broken his silence on his wedding to pop star Dua Lipa, describing the event as "the most beautiful day" of his life.

In an interview with Esquire published Tuesday, Turner, 36, gushed about his "amazing" Italian wedding to Lipa, 30, which took place earlier this summer. He characterized the public reaction to their nuptials as "pretty surreal," noting that strangers have offered congratulations as the couple goes about their daily lives.

"We went to the park yesterday, and everyone who walked past [us] said, ‘Congratulations,'" Turner told the outlet. "It’s a weird thing in general when you have such a personal thing happen and then it’s also spoken about publicly."

Turner also shared his future aspirations, stating that starting a family is a priority for him in the next decade. "Obviously, yeah. I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids," he said.

The couple tied the knot in May in an intimate ceremony at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, England. An insider told The US Sun at the time that Turner was emotional as Lipa walked down the aisle. The initial low-key ceremony was followed by a larger celebration in Palermo, Italy.

The Sicilian event featured a star-studded guest list, including Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, and Sir Elton John, who performed for the newlyweds. Following the festivities, the couple honeymooned at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily.

Turner and Lipa were first linked romantically in January 2024, with sources confirming they were "mad about each other." Lipa publicly confirmed their engagement in an April 2025 interview with British Vogue, expressing excitement about their impending marriage and the prospect of a lifelong partnership.

"This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever… it’s a really special feeling," Lipa said at the time.
