The global phenomenon BTS brought its "Arirang World Tour" to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, for two sold-out shows on August 1 and 2, captivating an audience of 82,500 attendees each night. The New York Post's Olivia Silio described the experience as unparalleled, noting the stadium's literal shaking during RM's performance of "Body to Body" when he encouraged the crowd to jump. This electrifying performance was part of the second North American leg of their ongoing tour.

The septet, comprised of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, is continuing their "Arirang World Tour" with numerous dates across the U.S. and Canada throughout August and September. Upcoming stops include Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA; M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD; Rogers Stadium in Toronto, ON; Soldier Field in Chicago, IL; and SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The tour also includes a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, NV, from September 18-19, where they will share the stage with artists like Cardi B, Benson Boone, Goo Goo Dolls, Snoop Dogg, and Zara Larsson.

Beyond the sheer energy of the music, the concert's visual production was a significant highlight. Silio reported a sea of light sticks synchronized with the performance, creating an immersive experience for the fans, known as ARMY. Pyrotechnics, confetti, and fireworks added to the spectacle, illuminating the New Jersey sky. The sense of community among fans was palpable, particularly during fan chants, such as the melodic calls of each member's name during "MIC Drop."

For those attending upcoming shows, Silio offered practical advice: arrive early for merchandise, as it often sells out, and meticulously plan transportation to and from the venue, noting challenges with ride-sharing services post-concert in New Jersey. She also highlighted the fan-made "freebies" exchanged among attendees as a unique aspect of the BTS concert experience.

Fans can anticipate a setlist that includes hits like "Run BTS (remix)," "FAKE LOVE (remix)," "MIC Drop," and "Body to Body," alongside encore performances of "Butter" and "Dynamite." The "Arirang World Tour" also features songs from BTS's sixth studio album, "ARIRANG," released on March 20. The album showcases the diverse talents of the seven members, with tracks ranging from the upbeat "Body to Body" and "Hooligan" to the more introspective "Like Animals" and the auto-tuned epic "Into the Sun."
