Bruce Willis, 71, was recently photographed with his youngest daughter, Tallulah, at her weekend wedding. The image, shared by Vogue, shows the actor embracing Tallulah, who was marrying Justin Acee.
Willis, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, appeared in the black-and-white photograph with his arm around his daughter. Acee was also pictured shaking hands with Willis, who was smiling. Willis was dressed in a button-up shirt, trousers, and a fedora for the occasion. Tallulah wore a sleeveless Alaia dress and carried a bouquet.
"A tender moment with my dad and Justin at the start of wedding weekend," Tallulah wrote in a caption for the image. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors in the backyard of her family home in Hailey, Idaho.
Tallulah described the wedding venue as a place where she "learned to run free and be the dreamer" she is today. She told Vogue that she and Acee had spent considerable time there, making it feel like a part of the property's fabric. Following the wedding, she expressed feeling "overwhelmed with gratitude and delight to begin this next chapter."
For the ceremony, Tallulah wore a custom Balenciaga strapless gown with a bow bustle and a train, designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli. She paired the dress with elbow-length gloves and styled her hair in an updo. Her older sisters, Rumer and Scout, served as bridesmaids and wore custom Balenciaga silk-chiffon gowns in light blue. Their mother, Demi Moore, also attended, wearing a strapless teal dress.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and guests attended a cocktail hour and an outdoor reception. A tent was set up for dancing later in the evening. Tallulah later changed into a shorter white dress by Vivienne Westwood.
Willis and Moore, who were married from 1987 to 2000, are parents to Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Willis later married Emma Heming in 2009, and they have two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn.
Willis retired from acting in 2022 following his diagnosis with aphasia, which his family announced had progressed to FTD the following year. In August 2023, reports indicated that he had moved to a separate home nearby his primary residence with Heming to receive 24/7 care.
Heming has shared that she visits Willis frequently, and they often have dinner and breakfast together. She stated that the separate house is equipped to support his needs, while their primary home meets the needs of their children. In June, Heming admitted on The Bossticks podcast that she is "consistently in grief" as she navigates her husband's health battle.
Tallulah has also spoken about her father's health, writing in a 2023 essay for Vogue about the difficulty of processing his condition. She expressed a reluctance to let go of hopes for her father and noted the elements of his personality she sees in herself, stating, "He was cool and charming and slick and stylish and sweet and a little wacky - and I embrace all that. Those are the genes I inherited from him."
