Brooks Nader was on set Wednesday in Malibu, California, filming scenes for the upcoming reboot of the television series "Baywatch." Nader, a Sports Illustrated model, was seen on the beach in the iconic red swimsuit associated with the show.

Nader, 29, has been cast as a series regular, portraying Selene, described as "the sharp-tongued captain of the Zuma beach lifeguards." The 12-episode reboot is expected to premiere early next year.

The new "Baywatch" series features a cast that includes both new talent and returning actors from the original show. David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison, and Erika Eleniak, who played Shauni McClain, and Kelly Packard, who portrayed April Giminski, are also returning. Stephen Amell will play Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff's character Mitch Buchannon. Other new cast members include social media influencer Noah Beck and actress Shay Mitchell.

Beyond her acting role, Nader has recently garnered media attention for her relationship with British actor Taron Egerton. Egerton was reportedly introduced to Nader's family in Los Angeles earlier in June, a development that followed their initial link-up in March. Sources close to Egerton have commented on the public nature of their relationship.

Nader, who has 1.8 million followers on social media, has been open about utilizing media platforms for visibility. She first gained significant attention in 2019 after being selected for Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue, eventually appearing on its cover in 2023. She also stars in the reality television show "Love Thy Nader" on Hulu with her sisters.
