Brooks Nader has publicly addressed rumors that she was involved in a love triangle with tennis stars Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the latest chapter in speculation that swirled around the US Open in New York.
The social-media influencer's comments come after her sister Grace Ann sparked speculation two weeks earlier by suggesting that her sibling was involved with someone 'whose name rhymes with winner.' Grace Ann later confirmed at a red-carpet event during the tournament that the rumors were true and that Alcaraz was 'the man of the hour.' The Spaniard's camp has denied that the world No. 1 and Nader are involved, though the chatter persisted among fans and tabloids.
During a late-night appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, host Andy Cohen pressed Nader about the dating setup. Nader responded with cautious clarity, saying that she would not discuss specifics: 'a lady never kisses and tells — especially twice, that’s just not nice. Dating is such a loose term these days. It’s just… I don’t know. By the way, my only thing is, guys do it all the time, so why can’t I do it?'
Earlier at The Daily Front Row's 12th annual Fashion Media Awards, alongside designer Zac Posen, Nader demurred when asked about dating either player, clarifying that she was there for Posen and not discussing her private life.
The US Open context framed the surrounding chatter: Sinner and Alcaraz met in the final, with Alcaraz reclaiming the world No. 1 ranking from Sinner after a showdown that drew global attention.
Alcaraz’s camp has pushed back on dating rumors, with journalist Alberto Guzman citing information from Alcaraz’s inner circle on the Spanish TV show No Somos Nadie that the players are not dating and not seeking something serious. 'They’re not dating, it’s not an official relationship,' Guzman said, adding that Alcaraz is single and not looking for a serious relationship.
People close to Nader have painted a different picture of her public persona. One acquaintance told the Sun that Nader's current aim is to stay in the news, noting that 'the more she is in the news, the better,' and that she remains single and open to romance while prioritizing visibility for her projects.
Separately, Sinner’s personal life has also been a topic of rumor. The Italian press and social media have circulated claims that Sinner is dating Laila Hasanovic, the former girlfriend of Formula One driver Mick Schumacher. Hasanovic had previously been seen at major matches and events, and a series of posts and sightings fueled the narrative. Hasanovic appeared to be connected to Sinner through a shared social-media footprint, with fans noting a resemblance between Hasanovic’s posts and what has been seen on Sinner’s devices. Hasanovic later traveled to New York for Sinner’s semi-final and was present at the US Open, further stoking fan discussion.
A Monte Carlo ice-cream shop owner who spoke to Corriere dello Sport claimed that Sinner and Hasanovic live in the La Condamine neighborhood and that Hasanovic is a down-to-earth figure who accompanies Sinner. The shop owner said Hasanovic is beautiful and simple in the way she carries herself.
In the end, none of the camps have offered definitive public confirmation of any relationship between Nader, Sinner or Alcaraz. Officials for the players have repeated that they value privacy in their personal lives, and Nader has not issued a formal statement beyond her late-night remarks.
