Brooklyn Beckham faced online criticism following a Halloween party, where fans perceived him as an outsider in a photo with his wife, Nicola Peltz, and their friend Damian Hurley. The trio attended an LA party, sharing costume details on Instagram.
While Beckham and Peltz embraced a superhero theme, Peltz and Hurley coordinated matching leather outfits. Beckham, dressed as Superman, was photographed with his hands in his pockets behind Peltz and Hurley, who were in a leather ensemble inspired by Michael Jackson's 'Dangerous' album era. This visual arrangement led to comments labeling Beckham a 'spare part' and 'out of place,' with some suggesting he appeared to be a 'third wheel.'
One fan questioned Peltz's matching costume with Hurley, while another humorously suggested Beckham would have been better suited as Batman. The dynamic between Peltz and Hurley drew comments like 'couple goals.'
Beckham and Hurley share a longstanding friendship, having known each other since childhood. Both have Sir Elton John as a godfather. The trio has recently been seen together at various events, including David Furnish's 64th birthday celebration in Venice.
In response to the online commentary, Beckham posted a photo of Peltz with the caption, "Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don't care. She's perfect xx," accompanied by a middle-finger emoji, signaling his disregard for the criticism.
Earlier, Beckham had shared a public tribute to Peltz, celebrating their seven-year anniversary and expressing his deep affection. Peltz also shared a similar anniversary message for Beckham.
The couple first met at Coachella in April 2017 and reconnected at a Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles in 2019, marking the beginning of their romance.
