The trio attended an LA party, with Peltz and Hurley opting for matching leather outfits inspired by Michael Jackson's "Dangerous" album era. Peltz dressed as Catwoman, while Hurley wore a jumpsuit. Beckham, meanwhile, wore a Superman costume.
An Instagram photo shared by Beckham showed Peltz and Hurley posing together, with Beckham standing behind them. "Bless him he looks like a spare part," one commenter wrote, with others agreeing that Beckham looked "out of place" or gave a "3rd wheel vibe."
Some followers questioned Peltz's matching costume with Hurley, with one suggesting Brooklyn "would have suited" a Batman suit better in that situation. Another user commented, "Nicola & Damian = couple goals."
Beckham and Hurley have been friends since childhood and share Sir Elton John as a godfather. The three have been seen together frequently in recent weeks, including at a birthday celebration in Venice.
Hours after the Halloween photos were posted, Beckham appeared to address the comments by sharing a picture of Peltz with the caption, "Yeah I am obsessed with my wife. Bring on the comments, I don't care. She's perfect xx."
Beckham and Peltz also celebrated seven years together on Thursday, sharing affectionate tributes on social media. Peltz wrote, "Happy anniversary my love, my best friend, my everything. I can't believe it's been 7 years by your side."
The couple first met at Coachella in 2017 and reconnected at a Halloween party hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio in Los Angeles in 2019, which marked the start of their relationship.
