Brooke Vincent made her first public appearance since her engagement ended, attending the National Television Awards at London's O2 arena on Tuesday night.
The soap actress, 34, and former Sheffield United footballer Kean Bryan, 29, reportedly called off their engagement earlier this year after a decade together. Vincent was seen on the red carpet in a sheer Norma Kamali dress, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes.
Vincent, who shares two sons, Mexx and Monroe, with Bryan, has been focusing on her career and social life following the split. She recently shared a cryptic message on Instagram, stating, "August… somehow an ending and a beginning all at once."
A source told The Sun that the couple decided to separate but are committed to co-parenting their children. "It wasn't an easy decision for them to make and they are both trying to navigate this new path together," the source said.
Vincent recently joined the cast of Hollyoaks in July, playing Abigail Matthews. This role marked a return to television after she departed Coronation Street in 2019. Sources suggest her new role has provided a confidence boost, contributing to her reevaluation of her relationship.
"It made her see she’s not just a mum but also a star still – and part of that new found confidence made her look at her relationship," a source told The Sun.
Vincent is widely recognized for her role as Sophie Webster on Coronation Street, a character she portrayed from 2004 to 2019.
