Brooke Vincent made her first public appearance since announcing her split from fiancé Kean Bryan at the National Television Awards on Tuesday. Vincent, 34, attended the ceremony at London's O2 arena in a sheer lace gown by Norma Kamali, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes.

It was revealed last week that Vincent and the former Sheffield United footballer Kean Bryan, 29, have ended their engagement after a decade together. The couple share two young sons, Mexx and Monroe.

A source close to the couple stated that while the decision to split was difficult, they are committed to co-parenting their children and navigating their new path together. The source added that both Vincent and Bryan are focusing on their sons and maintaining normality for them.

Vincent had previously hinted at the separation on social media, posting a cryptic message on Instagram over the weekend that read: 'August… somehow an ending and a beginning all at once.'

Vincent recently returned to television in a new role on the soap opera Hollyoaks, playing Abigail Matthews. She joined the cast in July, marking a significant comeback after departing Coronation Street in 2019, where she was best known for her role as Sophie Webster.

According to reports, her new role has provided Vincent with a renewed sense of confidence, helping her to see herself as a star as well as a mother. This newfound self-assurance reportedly played a part in her re-evaluation of her relationship, with sources suggesting that she felt the relationship was holding her back and that Bryan was not as supportive as she desired.
