Jayden James Federline, son of pop star Britney Spears, recently made a public appearance at a MAC Cosmetics event, sporting a black leather jacket over a black T-shirt, wide-leg jeans, and black loafers. The 19-year-old, who has been pursuing a modeling career, attended the event earlier this week.
His appearance follows a social media post by Spears in which she expressed feelings of failure as a mother. Spears detailed a conversation with one of her sons, who told her he did not believe in God, leading her to reflect on her shortcomings and her spiritual beliefs. She also apologized for past mistakes and spoke about her estranged relationship with her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears.
Federline and his brother, Sean Preston, 20, made their runway debut in June, walking for the Vetements Spring/Summer 2027 menswear show during Paris Fashion Week. Jayden also attended the Dior Cruise 2027 fashion show in May. Both brothers have begun using their first and middle names, dropping Federline, in what appears to be a professional and social media shift rather than a formal name change.
Spears, while expressing past grievances with her parents for allegedly taking her sons on secret outings, appears supportive of her sons' burgeoning careers. Jayden previously told Vogue that his mother was nervous for their Paris Fashion Week debut and had sent flowers and offered constant support.
Spears' conservatorship, which began in February 2008 and was largely controlled by her father, Jamie Spears, ended in November 2021 after significant public pressure and her testimony about alleged abuses. She filed for divorce from her sons' father, Kevin Federline, in November 2006.
